The Health Insurance Marketplace
At Rodgers Health, we love being part of your neighborhood and your community. That’s why we’re grateful to team up with many community partners to deliver important care and resources. From WIC and the Kansas City Healthy Start Initiative to transportation, our community partners help us serve more people in more ways than ever before.
We believe you and your family deserve access to the health services you need, and the Marketplace is a way to find health coverage that meets your needs and fits your budget. It’s a one-stop shop with one application, and you can see all of your options and enroll. Most who qualify to purchase health insurance in the Marketplace also receive financial assistance to make their health insurance affordable.
Health insurance plans in the Marketplace offers essential health benefits, including doctor visits, preventive care, hospitalization, prescriptions and more. Rodgers Health has Marketplace Counselors to guide you. To make an appointment or to speak to a Marketplace Counselor, contact us.
The Affordable Care Act requires nearly everyone to have health insurance or pay a penalty on their federal income tax return. There are many exemptions to the requirement, and if you already have Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP or employer-based health insurance you do not need to apply. We’re here to help. If you are uninsured, contact us to connect with a Rodgers Health Marketplace Counselor.
