LaTedra M. Collins, D.D.S.

LaTedra Collins, D.D.S., graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City's School of Dentistry. She completed her undergraduate work at Xavier University of Louisiana.

Dr. Collins is a member of the American Dental Education Association, the Missouri & Kansas Dental Associations and has served as President of the Hispanic & Student National Dental Association. Dr. Collins has done volunteer work at the Great Start Program for Preschool Children, Dental Care With a Heart program and also volunteers at her church. She enjoys reading, playing the clarinet and piano, sports and traveling.

According to Dr. Collins, after providing access to care, "education is vital to the success of oral health care in America."

Lauren Andreas, D.D.S.

Lauren Andreas, D.D.S., graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in Kansas City, Missouri; she was a Resident at the Denver Health Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Andreas received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Before coming to Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, Dr. Andreas was a dentist with the Metro Community Provider Network in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Andreas is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Colorado Dental Association.

Michelle N. Perez, D.M.D.

Michell N. Perez, D.M.D., graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the A.T. Still University of Health Sciences-Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona. She completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Before joining the staff of Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, Dr. Perez provided dental services at the Lyon County Health Department, Flint Hills Community Health Center in Emporia, Kansas. She has performed extensive community service work in the dental health arena in a variety of settings, in both Kansas and Arizona.

Dr. Perez is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Dental Education Association, the Hispanic Dental Association, and the Kansas Dental Association.

Serese M. Cannon, D.D.S.

Children's Dental Care Provider

Dr. Cannon graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She is an experienced pediatric dentist with over 20 years in pediatric dentistry and surgery. Dr. Cannon is a guest lecturer and workshop facilitator, and she is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Kansas City, Missouri Chapter, and the National Dental Association.

Jamey Onnen, D.D.S.

Jamey Onnen, D.D.S. graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, in Kansas City, Missouri, as a Doctor of Dental Surgery, with honors. He was an undergraduate student at Brigham Young University.While at UMKC, Dr. Onnen served as Vice President of the American Student Dental Association, UMKC Chapter, and was a Missouri Delegate for the American Student Dental Association. He has volunteered outside of the U.S. for the Honduras Dental Outreach Program. Dr. Onnen is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. When asked about his approach to providing dental care, Dr. Onnen said, “I strive to develop lifelong oral health through education, prevention, and quality restorative therapy in a pleasing environment with a knowledgeable and dedicated staff.”

Kyong-A (Kay) Kong, D.D.S.

Dr. Kyong-A (Kay) Kong, D.D.S., graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry after completing her undergraduate work at Avila University, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dr. Kong worked in private practice before the joining the staff of the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center. She also has experience working at the Kansas City Free Health Clinic and the St. Joseph Outreach Program. Dr. Kong has received several awards including the Academy of Dental Materials Award, an award from the Outstanding Clinical Performance in Restorative Dentistry and the Philip M. Jones Award for Excellence in Prosthodontics
