A letter from Hilda Fuentes, CEO of the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center--

When I think about what we do at the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, a saying comes to mind-"little becomes much when you place it in the proper hands." We are stewards of our community's health needs and we believe that everyone who enters our door deserves the highest quality medical, dental and behavioral health care services available, anywhere.

I believe our patients appreciate the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center. They discover we're sensitive to their needs and that we provide the same level of care for their family, as we would for our own. I relish seeing a patient's warm and grateful smile, a gentle nod or a thank you note sent just to say "thanks!"

Some times the daily struggles of life such as feeding one's family, paying for utilities, or the upkeep of an automobile, far outweigh a mother's or father's priority of getting needed medical treatment. This delay may require more of a commitment of our resources--just to get them on the road to a healthy recovery. At the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, we not only treat the immediate needs of our patients, but we also educate them about preventive care-encouraging them to take steps to become proactive about their family's health. This approach is ultimately the most cost-effective, helping to conserve our precious resources, and is also in the best interest of the patient.

We've been providing quality, compassionate health care services to the Kansas City community and its surrounding area, for over 40 years.
