Capital Campaign

Come, watch us grow!

The Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center has successfully completed the final phase of its capital campaign, set up to develop funding for a new larger facility. Construction is now underway on land adjacent to our downtown campus at 825 Euclid Avenue, in Kansas City, Missouri. We began our fundraising in 2007 and have now achieved our fundraising goal of $25.5 million!

We have outgrown our current facility, built in 1971. Back then, we provided health care services to 5,000 patients. In 2010, we provided services to nearly 19,000 patients. The best news: our new building will allow us to serve the health care needs of over 7,200 new patients!

Our existing facility will eventually be razed to make way for a new Legacy Park—named in honor of our founder, Dr. Samuel U. Rodgers. It will be enjoyed by our patients, neighbors and staff members.

You can still help us with these important projects. Make a donation and we will honor a special place in our new building or in Legacy Park, in your name or in the name of a loved one. Opportunities can be tailored to fit your personal needs. Contact our Chief Community Affairs and Resource Development Officer at the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, Ruth Terrell, at 816.889.4779, for more information. We can also arrange a tour of our facilities and the construction site, where work is underway.

Come, be a part, of the lasting legacy of our founder, Samuel U. Rodgers, M.D., whose mission to "provide high quality, compassionate and affordable healthcare for all", not only lives on...but will soon also thrive, within our new home!
